Tanderra – Colac

This mixed purpose shelter near Colac Victoria is 175 metres long and three bays wide.

One bay is used for calf rearing and is protected by side shade mesh and under roof retractable shade.

The other two bays are used to house cows immediately prior to and during calving.

On a farm prone to waterlogging during winter the primary purpose of the shelter is to house and feed cows, close to the dairy, to improve animal welfare and to minimise pasture damage.
